3月19日開催しました学ぶ！子ども食堂はOHAOプロジェクトにとって、思いをいつも以上に込めた1日でした。
会場を提供してくださったオニオンでの最後の開催、OHAOプロジェクトを大きな愛情で育てていただきました。感謝の気持ちを伝えたい1日でもありました。
6月3日オニオンの川田社長様より食材提供のメールをいただきました。余りにも沢山いただいたので、地域助け合いの意味もあり他団体にもお配りし、使わせていただきました。
7月19日に初めてウクライナ避難民の皆さんと子ども食堂を開催しました報告をした流れから、夢のような素敵な会場を無償で提供してくださり、あの日からずっと支えていただきました。
オニオンさんはプロの集まりですので、毎月1度継続して開催していく中で、オニオンの優秀なスタッフの皆さんとの出会い、関わった日々は有料級の授業を受けている感覚で貴重な学びの機会をいただきました。
一緒に活動していく中で、目標とする素敵な存在でもありました。
そして後から人伝いで耳にしたことですが、毎月使わせていただいていた会場は東日本大震災時、ここから沢山の物資が何度も何度も被災地に運ばれていた尊い場所でもありました。
気づくとOHAOのメンバーは東日本大震災が繋げてくれたメンバーでした。
しかし関わってくださったスタッフの皆さんは定時の仕事ではなく、空いた時間に仮眠をして物を作るお仕事をされていますので、心優しい素敵な皆様の仮眠を奪っている状態でもありました。
そして作ってくださっていた動画はCMを専門とする企業ですので、1本桁の違う金額を無償で作ってくださっていたということ。
社会貢献のはずが、色んなご負担の上にOHAOの活動があったことも事実です。
深く深くお詫びとまた心から感謝という一言では納められないくらいの思いです。
また川田さんはOHAOの調理場を守ってくださっていました。普段社員食堂で美味しい料理を日々作られているので、本当に胃袋を掴まれるくらい美味しい食事でした。
作業の工程や物の考え方、経営者として尊敬していますし、大好きな私にとっては憧れの人です。
このような出会ってから9ヶ月、共に行うようになって8ヶ月、ここでの実績のお陰で港区役所からOHAOプロジェクト推薦していただく流れとなりました。
これからは港区役所と共に活動していけるように、ここで学んだことを活かしていけるように頑張って参ります。
そして今回はサンマリノ共和国大使館協力の下、サンマリノ共和国の歴史と文化を学ぶ機会を設けました。急遽体調不良のため、私とモデルのエリザベスさんでプレゼンを担当させていただきました。
クイズ正解者に特別お預かりしました地図を差し上げました。また素敵なメッセージをありがとうございました。
サンマリノはとても綺麗で治安も良く、消費税もないので買い物もしやすく、長く平和を保っている国であること。6月末のサンマリノ神社を中心にサンマリノまつりがあります。今回皆んなで作りましたピアディーナはサンマリノやイタリアのエミリアロマーニャ州のファーストフードで、親子で楽しみながら作れるということも良い体験になったと思います。
またオニオンの川田社長が足りないと困るだろうからと社協さんから頂いたフードバンクを活用させていただきミネストローネを特別に作ってくださいました。ご配慮ありがとうございました。
親子で学ぶ読み聞かせではNPO法人Talkingより日渡さんがアンコールで来てくださいました。子どもたちの意欲的な姿が目に焼き付いています。
コミュニティ医療として東京都済生会中央病院 救急救命士の大塚敏幸さんが目の前で人が倒れたらどうする？を想定し、子どもたちにもわかりやすく講義してくださいました。
小さい子どもたちも実際に胸骨圧迫を体験し一生懸命学んでくれました。
子どもたちへの夢の種まきはエリザベスさんが子どもたちにモデルだけでは大切なことを説明してくださり、体験では恥ずかしい中でも子どもたちは後半しっかりモデルさんに返信していました。エリザベスさんの今までのCMやテレビ出演の動画に皆んな貴重な学ぶ機会を感じてくださっていました。
それから今回は柔道女子57キロ級で１２年ロンドン五輪で金メダルの松本薫さんの手掛けられたアイスクリームを沢山ご寄付いただきました。松本さんは子どもたちの未来も応援されています。板橋区でこども食堂を運営されていますリルインフィニティ子ども食堂、板橋倫理法人会様、本当にありがとうございました。会場の皆さんとそして残りは今までの感謝の気持ちを込めてオニオンの社員皆様に寄贈させていただきました。
この活動を通して、私自身が日常のコミュニティが非常時のセーフティネットだと実感している日々でございます。
関わった皆様に何度助けられたか。医療者でありながら、患者さんの家族の気持ちを深く学んだり、そしてそこに繋がる社会資源を学ぶ機会でもありました。
これからいくつか港区内のエリアは様々ですが候補とあがっているところで展開していけるようにこれから行政も含めて深く話し合って参ります。
また次は3月のアンコールのため、協力してくださる皆さんもおりますので、この活動が1人でも2人でも意義あるものとなりましたら、幸いに思います。

OHAO Project "Learn! Children's Food Kitchen" Activity Report - March 19th
The "Learn! Children's Food Kitchen" event held on March 19th was a day filled with heartfelt dedication for OHAO Project.
We would like to express our gratitude for Onion, who generously provided the venue for the final event. The support and care we received from them were invaluable.
On June 3rd, we received an email from Mr. Kawada, the CEO of Onion, offering food supplies. We received an abundance of supplies, and in the spirit of community support, we shared them with other organizations. The venue provided free of charge since the first event with Ukrainian refugee children on July 19th has been a dream-like space that has supported us continuously.
Onion is a professional gathering, and through monthly events, we had the opportunity to learn valuable lessons and interact with the exceptional staff members. The experience felt like attending paid classes, and Onion became a wonderful presence and role model in our activities.
We later learned that the venue we used every month was a precious place from which a substantial amount of supplies were transported to disaster-stricken areas during the Great East Japan Earthquake. It was an eye-opening realization that members of OHAO were connected by the earthquake.
However, the staff members who supported us have their regular jobs and engage in creative work during their spare time, sacrificing their well-deserved rest. Furthermore, the videos created for us were made by a professional company specializing in commercials, who generously provided their services at a significantly higher cost. While OHAO's activities were meant to contribute to society, it is also a fact that they imposed various burdens.
Mr. Kawada also protected our cooking space at Onion. As he prepares delicious dishes every day at the company cafeteria, the meals he provided were truly mouthwatering. I respect his work process, thinking, and management style, and he is someone I greatly admire and love.
Since our initial encounter nine months ago and eight months of collaboration, our achievements here have led to OHAO Project being recommended by the Minato City Office. We will continue to work hard to collaborate with the Minato City Office and apply what we have learned.
In collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of San Marino, we created an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of San Marino. Due to sudden health issues, Elizabeth and I took charge of the presentation. We presented special maps to those who answered quiz questions correctly and received heartfelt messages. We learned about San Marino's beauty, its excellent public safety, and its tax-free shopping environment, as well as its long history of maintaining peace. We also discussed the San Marino Festival, which takes place at the end of June, centered around San Marino Shrine. The experience of making piadina together was a valuable and enjoyable experience for parents and children alike.
Additionally, we utilized the food bank provided by the social welfare council to make special minestrone soup. We are grateful for their consideration.
For the children's storytelling session, Mr. Hinato from the NPO Talking made an encore appearance. The children's enthusiastic participation left a lasting impression.
In the community healthcare corner, Mr. Toshiyuki Otsuka, an emergency medical technician from Tokyo Metropolitan Saiseikai Central Hospital, gave an easily understandable lecture on what to do if someone collapses right in front of you. Even the young children had the opportunity to experience chest compressions and enthusiastically learned the techniques.
Elizabeth explained the importance of conveying essential information to children, despite being a model herself, during the Seeds of Dreams session. The children actively responded to the model, overcoming their initial shyness. They felt the value of the precious learning opportunity while watching videos of Elizabeth's commercials and television appearances.
